Woodside is located at 40°13′50″N 74°51′29″W / 40.23056°N 74.85806°W (40.230596, −74.858193).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 1.0 square mile (2.6 km), all land.
As of the 2010 census, the population was 88.0% White, 1.8% Black or African American, 0.1% Native American, 7.2% Asian, and 0.9% were two or more races. 2.1% of the population were of Hispanic or Latino ancestry.
As of the census of 2000, there were 2,575 people, 791 households, and 745 families living in the CDP. The population density was 2,518.7 inhabitants per square mile (972.5/km2).
