Thompsonville is a census-designated place (CDP) in Washington County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 3,520 at the 2010 census.
Thompsonville is located at 40°16′53″N 80°7′11″W / 40.28139°N 80.11972°W (40.281373, -80.119665).
According to the United States Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of 2.1 square miles (5.4 km), of which, 2.0 square miles (5.2 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km) of it (1.44%) is water.
At the 2000 census there were 3,592 people, 1,228 households, and 1,024 families living in the CDP. The population density was 1,753.8 people per square mile (677.1 people/km). There were 1,254 housing units at an average density of 612.3 per square mile (236.4/km2). The racial makeup of the CDP was 98.13% White, 0.33% African American, 0.06% Native American, 0.81% Asian, 0.28% from other races, and 0.39% from two or more races.
